Dwelling in Possibilities:

The Preparation of Teachers for New Rural Landscapes This presentation explores possibilities for preparing a new generation of BC teachers who will have the knowledge and tools to constructively contribute to the revitalization of rural communities through education. Working knowledgeably with a variety of “place-based education” initiatives, it is hoped that teachers will be better able to help children and youth to imagine and participate in creating sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
