Communities in Transition: Real Estate Foundation of BC
The Communities in Transition initiative (CIT) is a partnership of agencies whose mandates involve planning for use and/or conservation of land for communities in non-metropolitan regions of British Columbia. The CIT is governed by a 10-member Advisory Committee, which represents a range of agencies and locations exhibiting pressing land use and conservation issues. CIT partners are agencies that formally engage by signing a Memorandum of Understanding, which describes the initiative and the role of a partner.The Real Estate Foundation of BC provides the Secretariat services for the initiative and also is a partner. The Foundation has earmarked grant funds for qualifying projects carried out in the context of the CIT.
